Acupuncture- Acupuncture is a safe, natural and powerful way to treat the body, mind and spirit.  It is one of the oldest therapies known to the healing arts.  It works as a holistic approach in boosting the body’s own fundamental healing response to once again establish homeostasis. Learn more about Acupuncture on Along with acupuncture, which includes the insertion of hair-thin, sterile needles into acupuncture points, I also use modalities such as cupping, moxabustion (heat therapy), tuina (bodywork), and nutritional counseling.  Treatments are always tailored to the needs of the individual patient and my goal is to educate and empower patients to take charge of their own health. Acupuncture should not be looked at as a quick fix, however you may experience symptom relief right away. The cumulative effect of regular treatment is the most powerful.

Initial Consultation & Treatment: $125

Follow-up Treatment: $75

Fire Cupping Session: $45

Add-on Cupping to Acupuncture Treatment: $10

Electro-Acupuncture (E stim) is another modality I use in most treatments to further enhance the patients results. It is a stimulation technique used to specifically direct the energy in the body. A gentle pulse or vibration of low current electricity is sent through the needles deep into the muscles to have a greater effect. This modality is particularly good for the treatment of pain.

Chinese herbs- Chinese herbal medicine is a cost effective way to treat a wide range of human aliments. From the common cold to pain to infertility, Chinese herbs help support the body from a constitutional stand point. Formulas are designed to each individual’s specific needs and can include ingredients such as; roots, bark, twigs, dried leaves, seeds and flowers. Herbs are a great option for those who are unable to get regular treatment.

Herbal Consultation: $45 + cost of herbs

Currently accepting Cigna insurance. If you have a different provider and your insurance covers acupuncture I can always send you with a super bill to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.

Please Note It is your responsibility to call your insurance before your acupuncture appointment to find out if you have coverage. Just because your insurance states you have acupuncture benefits, does not mean that they will pay *which means you will be responsible for the amount*. I recommend you call and ask the following questions:

1. Am I required to meet my deductible?

2. Do I have a copay or coinsurance charge?

3. How many visits am I allowed per year and when does the year start and end for my policy?

4. Is my acupuncture coverage combined with other care, such as physical therapy or massage

5. Does my insurance cover for specific diagnosis only? Ie. chronic back pain, nausea from chemo...

Acupuncture should not be looked at as a quick fix, however some people experience symptom relief right away. The cumulative effect of Acupuncture is most powerful and shows best results with regular, consistent treatments.

For most chronic conditions, 5-10 weekly sessions are recommended initially for lasting results. Each case varies depending on medical history, constitution, lifestyle and other factors.

Many patients choose to receive acupuncture on a continuing basis (weekly, monthly, or seasonally) for relaxation, stress reduction, health maintenance and preventative care.

As needed, dietary and lifestyle counseling are also provided as part of the treatment.

Children, elderly, and patients of all shapes and sizes are welcomed and accommodated with care.
