CARRIE

Carrie is a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and a National Board-Certified Acupuncturist by the NCCAOM. 

She graduated with a 4-year Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. Carrie has studied a range of specialties and has been trained for thousands of hours in areas of focus that include; Women’s Health, Fertility, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Allergies, Stress, Depression, Anxiety and other Emotional Imbalances. 
 
Prior to Graduate school, Carrie graduated from Colorado State University in 2009 earning a Bachelors of Science in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. She has treated the athletes at the University of Colorado, Boulder and was part of the medical team in the Sports Medicine department at University of Denver for five years.

Carrie has completed an internship at the Heilongjiang University in Harbin, China where she worked under the top doctors and earned fieldwork experience in Acupuncture and Eastern Herbal Medicine.

Carrie is passionate about sharing this medicine and helping people feel empowered to take charge of their health.

Carrie is skilled in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Eastern Dietary Therapy, Cupping and Gua Sha. She is Nationally Board-Certified under the NCCAOM, is certified in Clean Needle Technique from the CCAOM, and is fully licensed in the state of Colorado.
